Multifunctional automated powder coating line
Multifunctional automated powder coating line includes several integrated components:
Automated Transport System with Control Unit
This system transports traverses with pre-treated and mounted parts through the coating process. The controller allows operators to adjust parameters such as conveyor speed and temperature. The operational dimensions of the spray booth accommodate items up to 7000 × 1750 × 400 mm.
Spray Booth
This is where the electrostatic powder coating takes place. Its main advantage is the consistent, uninterrupted flow of powder, ensuring fast and high-quality coating results. The booth features a multicyclone filtration system and is equipped with a rapid color change function (within 30 minutes), which provides flexibility in handling multiple orders and reduces downtime.
Curing Oven
The curing oven is equipped with specially designed air ducts that evenly distribute hot air throughout the chamber. This ensures uniform curing of each coated product for optimal surface finish and durability.
Chemical Pre-Treatment Line – Yellow Chromating
At the initial stage of the powder coating process, aluminum profiles undergo thorough surface preparation. This pre-treatment is carried out on a dedicated line and includes the following steps:
● Etching bath with simultaneous degreasing
● Three rinsing baths after etching
● Chromating bath
● Three rinsing baths after chromating
● Drip-off zone
● Drying unit
Advantages of this treatment:
● High corrosion resistance of the aluminum surface
● Excellent mechanical strength and protective performance of the chromate films
● All chemicals used are certified and supplied by ALUFINISH GmbH (Germany).
Manual Powder Coating Line
This line is used for smaller-scale projects of up to 100 m². Color changes take only 5–7 minutes, allowing for exceptional flexibility and mobility. Orders can be completed within a single work shift without disrupting the production schedule. The booth dimensions typically accommodate products up to 7000 × 1800 × 900 mm.
Packaging Area
It’s no secret that well-coated products must be protected from scratches, dents, and other damage. To ensure this, we use a dedicated packaging machine that significantly simplifies the process, reduces packing time, and provides a higher-quality finish compared to manual methods.
In addition, for aluminum profiles (such as window and door frames or post-and-beam systems), we can apply a special adhesive protective film. This film safeguards the decorative coating not only during transportation but also during installation on-site. All of this is handled using a specialized film application machine.
Laboratory Quality Control
The Elite Decor Color production and measurement laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments necessary to perform a full range of quality assessments for powder coatings, in accordance with international Qualicoat standards.
Our laboratory conducts control tests on polymer powder coatings, including coating thickness measurement, adhesion testing, flexural elasticity, hardness testing, impact resistance, cupping strength, curing temperature evaluation, surface density of the conversion layer, electrical conductivity and pH of rinse water.
We follow internationally recognized standards, including:
